What is CREST?
CREST is a non-profit organization that “serves the needs of a technical information security marketplace that requires the services of a regulated professional services industry”[1]. To that end, CREST maintains a directory of members that offer professional services in many information security disciplines. CREST looks to set standards for the delivery of technical professional services by individual practitioners and companies. Organizations that are looking for qualified individuals or companies to provide penetration testing, threat intelligence or incident response services can refer to this list of CREST members.
CREST Singapore was launched in July 2016, aiming to produce skills and capabilities for professionals and service providers to perform penetration tests by introducing CREST certifications in Singapore[2].
